Just now i was thinking about the Islamic date, i have no idea if this is Muharram or Safar…and i thaught i would see it somewere on gupshup main page. But i can’t see it anywhere…if we don’t have it then please put it up on the main page. I would rather see the date here then going out to some other Islamic Web site. And if it is here somewhere hiding, please direct me there

Iam sorry, but ur request will go in vain. This is a secular website, a site run by liberalists with a very secular mindset.

islamic dates r not same in every part of the world, so it aint a good idea....
u can always check ur local islamic newspapers....

It is actually disappointing that there is a chand taraa at the top but no Islamic date. I would really like to see it here, you have no idea how much it will help people like me :) and i am sure lot of people will like to keep up with islamic dates out their busy north american schedules....i agree with AQ's suggection...there gotta be some way it can be represented.

Idea is nice. Maybe we can get the Islamic date from a website like www.moonsighting.com](http://www.moonsighting.com/) and display it below the time on GS main page. I’ll see if I can put it on our techies to-do list. Till then, make use of that website.
