Women are calling up all the time because the men of Pakistan have kept the truth about Islam and its treatment towards women hidden from them. The same population now makes up the maulvi population in general in Pakistan. True there are some good learned aalims anywhere, but the majority of the muslim population in Pakistan is very ignorant of Islam, and its the "clergy" that are responsible for it. You don't see educated phD's on this network as much as you see this same "clergy" on it.
If they're going to have a channel on Islam, then they better be keeping people of good educational background on Islam on the channel. I don't see that - there are too many hosts who are simply on there because they're some respected figure from some community or the other - nevermind the fact that they probably never went to college.
