It's beautiful. Glad to see some traditional architecture for a mosque in the US. Will definitely pay a visit if i'm in the area.

Femme - I've never been here on Eid, but my parents used to come to this Musjid often when they first moved here. There were a lot more people that came to the Musjid then, because there were hardly and Musjids at all. Now, since more Musjids have been built, the community is spreading/growing. My father told me that on Eid namaaz, people would be lined up all the way to the outside courtyard!! :)

I wish people paid more attention to the masjids here. One of em is an old school building and the other one thats closest to my house, I’ve heard, was somebody’s house before. And they’ve been left exactly as they got em :-/

&Passionate, maybe you should alert your local Muslim community that they should apply for funding from the Saudi government or whatever...Sharaabi knows more about it..Ask him. :)

There wasn't very many people there when I went (Saturday for Maghrib), but there still are lots of people that come for Jummah and stuff...Mostly men, because it's near all the office buildings and stuff.

Funding for the masjid got approved sometime in 80s...Faisal got killed in 1975.
