Artist Adil Akhtar explores the history of Islam through a series of painting. The series, entitled ‘Revelations’ traces, in a chronological manner, the message from God to Mohammad (PBUH) and ends with his return to Makkah. In this video, he explains his version of Islamic art, his self-identification process in America and why he chose this medium.
