Salaam everyone! I’m interning in Islamabad from Dec 15th to Jan 15th. I have never been to Islamabad before. How is the weather usually around that time? Also any cool places I should check out? Food recommendations? Thanks!

It is cold especially as there is no central heating! Take your coat, scarf, gloves and thermals.

Murree is near to Islamabad. It has cold weather
I think it depends on what you think is a cold weather. Where are going from? I visited isb last year around the same time ..Dec 23 to Jan 12 and it was okay. I had my winter coat on. No gloves or scarves were needed. And we did go out a lot too but I guess I am just used to the cold weather..living in Canada.
