Islamabad

I will be in Islo visiting for about one year. I have never been to pakistan before, well once when I was five but that doesn’t count

I need ideas, tips, suggestions, whatever you can offer on making my trip memorable. I am flying with Gulf, any comments?

Re: Islamabad

Islamabad's airport has flights leaving to Karachi and Lahore every hour. Consider it your gateway to a memorable trip.

Just make sure you go early - the locals jump into bed at around 8pm.

Re: Islamabad

Am I the only one from Islo here?

Re: Islamabad

Hey I would be in Islabad for a year too. I will be arriving there on or about first of September. Do you know where would you be staying?

Re: Islamabad

My housing will be paid by the agency I am working for. What about you? What takes you to Islo?

Re: Islamabad

Well I will be in Islamabad with my wife and three kids from October till November. Creative what job are you doing? Are you going for work purpose in Islamabad? Let me know the details. I hope you have a enjoyable time, just keep your pockets safe from pick pockets, don't pay nothing at airport. Any questions through it away mate.

Re: Islamabad

If you'll be travelling around PAK during your stay then don't travel on your own.

Re: Islamabad

My trip is not solely for work purposes, but for education as well. I am just concerned with everything going on there.

I assume you're coming for a vacation for a month or so?

Re: Islamabad

I am going for my younger sister's wedding. Only 10 days before I leave for Islamabad.

Re: Islamabad

Islamabad is nice =)

Re: Islamabad

^ It's nice, but also boring. If it wasn't for the new motorway that halfed the travelling time to NWFP then I'd have gone crazy :)
