Has anyone had a function there? I have heard about it from inlaws for the walima function. Apparently it is within ayub national park. I have no clue about it nor have I visited. How is it?
What other venues are good on a budget in islamabad / pindi area?

I went years ago to a wedding at the golf club around Ayub National Park, maybe that’s what they call Topi Rukh? Sorry, out of my depth here, if it is that then it was good. My parents liked it, they lit the whole park thing up with lights so it looked nice, decorations were a bit meh but you could sort that out yourself. I think there’s a quite a large area outside if you want to have half of the event in the open. Erm, seating was good too, they had a hall downstairs and upstairs which was a bit confusing since it wasn’t actually eant to be segregated I think but sort of became segregated?
One of my cousin’s got married in the PC in Pindi, it’s a pretty place but I’ve heard it’s over rated. I’m sure you’ll find a nice one in Islamabad, go for the smaller ones than the big names, the only thing they offer is ‘ooh I got married in…’ The margalla hills are pretty, don’t they have venues around there? That would be awesome, half an out door event looking on to the hills

Sandwiched between Rawalpindi Golf Club and the Ayub Park, Topi Rakh Auditorium is a marriage Hall with a capacity to entertain more than 600 guest at the same time. A few photos can be seen here:
