*While so many people are speculating that the next target of the US wrath will be Pakistan, some bad news is on their way, as the US has declared that the money that Bush is seeking from the congress, is principally for its allies to cope with the effects of war, particularly Pakistan. The maiin point these people raise, when they predict a US attack on Pakistan, is that Pakistan is a Muslim country, which is why the US is going to attack it. This is absurd. Even though the foriegn policy and war plans of the US revolve around self interest, attacking Pakistan serves none of their needs. They appreciate how our Government officials and our Armed Forces have been cooperating in an international manner economically and militarily. Those that raise the question of nukes being the primary reason fail to see how it is only being used to provide a balance of terror from Indian agression, and the US is well aware of this fact. As for them believing fundos and Mollahs will gain control of these nukes, that again is an absurd statement. The military is in full control of these well secured nuclear facilities, and those that have even been in a 50 mile radius of any of these facilities would know what I am talking about. *
WASHINGTON, March 25: Pakistan will be a principal beneficiary of a $1.5 billion assistance package the Bush administration is seeking from Congress to help its coalition partners cope with the effects of the war, a senior US official said on Tuesday.
While giving a break-up of the funds the administration has requested for the war in Iraq and for fighting terrorism, the official said: “There is a $1.5 billion for coalition partners. This is principally Pakistan.”
The official did not say how much of the $1.5 billion he mentioned as separate assistance for coalition partners would go to Pakistan.
Another close US ally, Turkey, will get $1 billion in aid, far less than the reported $6 billion it would have received had it allowed some 62,000 US troops to be deployed along its borders.
Turkey has now allowed the US to use its space for carrying out air strikes into Iraq but Washington has already made it clear that this would not revive the economic package it had earlier offered to Turkey.
US will never attack Pakistan i.e Nuclear State 'cause in doin' so, it knows the response would be Nukes; half of the US Naval Ships will be whipped out from the Arabian Sea and Persian Gulf. Look, how US is dealin' with the North Korea. Isolation is bad. NK is an isolated country but got nukes that could reach US Coasts. Pakistan is not an isolated country in means of communication with the neighbors, China and Iran and now relations with Russia have hit the new path.
Yes, US maynot support Pakistan in means of bilateral relations 'cause US never had i.e US can't be trusted. This time, US need us to capture Al-Qaeda figutives; and Pakistan is clearin' out debt check.
After Iraq, Iran might be a target; but I've a feelin' they may conduct Nuclear Tests. Btw, US and Pakistan are allies, not friends.

When the US attacks another nation it has to consider pros and cons of it. Pakistan listens to US, has always cooperated on regional matters, like Afghan Jihad etx..cento seato, we don't have oil hence the US won't recover the money that it spends on war,,, there are just too many cons and no pros. The Mullahs know that they are not able to deliver on there promises to the people so they are resorting to scare tactics to stay in power.
It seems I could only find this notion that "primary recepient of this aid will be Pakistan" something coming out from Pakistan (and Pakistani officials) only. Is it a hard fact, or is it "if wishes were horses" kinda thing?
