Anyone knows some good places worth visiting a hot june day/evening in Islamabad and Pindi area??

Need to know places for dining, excursions, sightseeing etc.

no much you can do :p

what kind of dining, excursions/sightseeing are limited to margalla hills, shakarparian, peer sahawa (all hill stations close to islamabad). Margalla hills has some nice trails you can take.

chattar/murree/salgiran if you want to get out fo the city and yet stay close.

take a trail in JUNE??? you gaaat to be kidding me ravage! I think ti’ll be too hot for any outdoor activity Chameli :bummer: go and stay in murree.

i wonder if you guys are gonna visit india there are much more places to see there and its not bad there politically. goa is supposed to be a fab place. there are a lot of hill stations there also. it has every thing there.

Well there are lots of places to visit in and around Islamabad.
In Islamabad you can visit Shakar parian, Damn e koh, Pir sohawa, Lok virsa museum, Museum of natural history, Faisal Mosque, Rawal Lake etc etc. But the real attraction lies in near by hill stations. Murree, Ayubia, Nathia Gali, Changla Gali, Bhurbun Patryata are lovely places.
If you like hiking try trail no. 3 in Islamabad. You will like it. Dont forget to take tea at some khokha in Shakar parian jungle.
