Where are you girls? A sister (me) needs some desperate help! Wedding is in 4 months, with nothing done besides the venues and on top of that coming all the way from Canada!

Omg I am in the exact same situation as you, but the only difference is I have few more months :) let me know how does everything go? Are you gonna live in isb or come back to Canada eventually ?

I’m doing in order of importance
**Venue *** if it’s during winter wedding season then make sure ur choice of venue isn’t booked for ur day/
**wedding dress /jewelry /mua *see all the MUA threads & u’ll get the hint ***
mUa also depends for some girls on the dress they do go for , red bridal or contemporary etc,
shoes
grooms clothes if ur to give the outfit on baarat.
decor: themes ideas etc
Food
deserts
**clothes post wedding & jewelry clutches and shoes **keep it in accordance to what kind of lifestyle 'll be leading- lots of diners n dawats right after the wedding or more focused on semi formals
are you going to be settling down here? Then items for household or furniture /decor .If not then that’s no worry.
and yes 4 months are enough for shopping but make wedding dress a priority because u won’t like verything u see and everything u like wont be available 4 many reasons .
Keep a margin of time for political unrest/delays by tailors & karigars/ alterations.
Note: this stuff happens with desginers too, I’ve had friends n family order from desginers and they have been late & not the requested work lighter kaam and sent right before the weddings so rather then freak out last minute , schedule time so that it doesn’t upset u and u have time to work around it.
l Most important remember it is ur wedding day & just like all other days when plans go a little wry it doesn’t matter in the big picture. take a deep breath & focus on the person ull be spending the rest of ur life with I.A & that is the most important thing:)

I cant find any good make up artist that could travel to JHelum for Baraat. I am going all natural on Mehndi though! And Walima is in Islamabad! Any help my beautiful Guppans?

@majesty: I loved your suggestions, you guys are so sweet and helping lots of newbies like me ~ lol. I will be definitely turning to this thread for venting if needed ;). I was talking to my mom the other day, she said 25 years back when she got married they could just go to bigger/smaller shops and find all kind of dresses/lehngas in different ranges. Does this still happen? I mean i have been to Pakistan only once in last 12-15 years 
is it possible that i can go to any good shop and get a great lehnga? which is actually as good as designers? Pleaseeeee let me know if it would be worth doing? I want a great red lehnga that’s it 
so please help <3

but my suggestion is Daniella is best for all three days events bcoz she is very experienced in this field mee lee r also very good for all three days & the other famous name is sobia .my sister wedd in march 2012 so we selected mee lee for barat & daniella for valima
