What kind of money does a nice place, preferably with a garden, balcony or something cost per month. In a good area?
Car hire is priced at approximately how much, and if you wanted a driver with it for a month.

Thanks. That Rs. 1700 what kind of a place would it get you. I have never been is ISL dont have aclue on what area is good bad etc... just summing up a possible position.

Rs 17000 per month for renting a flat/place sounds more reasonable. Range can be 12000 to 20000 (average)
Rs. 6000+ per month for a driver.
I have no idea about the prices to buy, all depends upon what area in ISB.
A Suzuki Cultus will cost you around 1400 - 1600 (range) per day, without driver. But if u take it for one month or more lease then its Rs. 1000 per day.

Ya one more thing, before hiring a driver or house maid etc. Make sure to see their original (NADRA) ID card & keep a photocopy of it in your records (only checking Driving Licence is not worth).
