ehsan, the difference is that the perpetrators who commit those heinous and deplorable crimes at Abugharib do not cite the US constitution......but the islamic fundamentalists cite the koran in their names, when they are beheading people, invoke Allah when carrying out bombings and claim a religious principle of jihad to commit their deplorable acts. Muslims went amok when the quran was supposedly desecrated...yet no one even utters a peep when a terrorist goup names themselves Jaish e' Muhammad...who is bringing religion into the equation?

Please donot move this thread to Religion section, because I dont want the boring Hadiths and tafsirs( and the fights over did he say, no he did not, he did too). This is a general question.

With all the killings, rapes, murders, beheadings, burnings and angry mobs etc etc. I want to know where exactly does the peace in Islam kick in. I know about a few hundred years ago there might have been peace for a few minutes but thats about it. So while Muslims (people that follow Islam) talk the talk, can they walk the walk?

Are we (Muslims collectively all sects combined) ready to tackle the pressing issues or are we still gonna blame our ills to the Boo-boo doll (Israel, Jews and US)?

VZ, Your questioning is pretty much humdrum. Peace is in you regardless of faith. Killings, rapes, murders, beheadings, burnings and angry mobs etc has nothing to do with religion, it occurs on regular basis in so called civilized nations too. I hope I don’t have to provide you examples.

Pressing issues are oppressed on Muslims, some folks find it easy to shunt and some answer them in not so agreed manner. Actions taken by an individual or a group of individuals should not be considered as Agreed Actions by All Sects.

What I want to know is where do you stand?

we should start all our conversations with 'I condem 9/11..no i have never broken any laws in any county..no one i know has..nope..not even a speeding ticket.. We all know US policies are Evil, Americans (on this board )too know this but they will never accept it.

It is very iimportant for peace loving Muslims to distance themselve from terrorists and comdemn them with DUE FORCE and LOUD VOICE.

It reminds me of the same complain made by a Non-muslim, it is still waiting for an answer !

The Christian faith has evolved with the times to be tolerant of others. (though we also had our days of intolerance) It is Islam that will not tolerate any other belief except the Koran and are willing to assissinate innocent women and children to further said belief.

LI, Iraq is a lost cause. Let’s worry about Darfur where Muslims are butchering and rapping other Muslims. It’s really sad situation, and I think Ummah should pay attention to Darfur (you know it is near Asia on the map – kinda a little bit left of New Jersey Turnpike). What do you say? I am sure you are not happy about millions displaced and being raped and butchered by Muslims.

Let’s pray together for their safety. May be some animals, I mean Saudis, can send some troops and money to Darfur.

If US/coalition army leaves, there will be no need for other external armies, is it hard to understand?

i am finding this thread ever so useful..so far i have learnt i have to condem the atrocities..but that is not enough..i have to exterminate the radicals..hmm..the whole american army hasnt found one radical but i wont let that daunt me..i will exterminate the radical..before or after the school run?

..oh i almost forgot..while my sons are at school i must remind them daily that they r now in the 21st century..
