Islam main parde ka hai k apna saara jism cover karo,sir per scarf lo…per i want to know k kya face bhi cover karna zaroori hai…i mean agar sirf hijab kiya ho aur face cover na kiya ho to?
mujhe aasa lagta hai k islam main face cover karna shayad zaroori nahi…kyonki agar hota to Haajh main log face kyon nahi chupate???

I will jsut provide two verses from the Quran read it and try to understand,
007.026 *
**YUSUFALI:* O ye Children of Adam! We have bestowed raiment upon you to cover your shame, as well as to be an adornment to you. But the raiment of righteousness,- that is the best. Such are among the Signs of Allah, that they may receive admonition!
PICKTHAL: O Children of Adam! We have revealed unto you raiment to conceal your shame, and splendid vesture, but the raiment of restraint from evil, that is best. This is of the revelations of Allah, that they may remember.
SHAKIR: O children of Adam! We have indeed sent down to you clothing to cover your shame, and (clothing) for beauty and clothing that guards (against evil), that is the best. This is of the communications of Allah that they may be mindful.
024.031 *
**SHAKIR:* And say to the believing women that they cast down their looks and guard their private parts and do not display their ornaments except what appears thereof, and let them wear their head-coverings over their bosoms, and not display their ornaments except to their husbands or their fathers, or the fathers of their husbands, or their sons, or the sons of their husbands, or their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or those whom their right hands possess, or the male servants not having need (of women), or the children who have not attained knowledge of what is hidden of women; and let them not strike their feet so that what they hide of their ornaments may be known; and turn to Allah all of you, *O believers! so that you may be successful. *

Simple answer ye hai ke kuch scholars ke nazdeek zaroori hai magar beshtar ke nazdeek Haj ya namaz ke waqat ka libas islami lihaz se kaafi hia …
Khawateen ki leye amomi hijaab (haj ya namaz ka libas) kafi hai, our agar khawateen chehrey ka niqaab bhi karna chahain tu ye unki swabdeed per munhasir hia, our unki neyat ke ikhlas ke mutabiq ye amal Taqwa ke ziada nazdeek hai.
Baaqi Allah behtar janta hia

Covering the face can also be a security issue. I remember seeing a photograph of the Jamaya Hafsa students (who beat up a family in their neighborhood with sticks) who had their faces covered. It made me wonder: if the police or the court of law wanted to take action against them, how will they ever identify the culprits? They were all hiding their faces with black naqaabs! As far as I know the Quran doesn’t command women to cover their faces, and security/identification issues maybe among the reasons.

Hareem, I didn't mean to go off-topic, I was offering a reason as to why covering of face has not been religiously ordained. But thank you for pointing out the misinformation I had posted. I did some search and found that the face-hiding students abducted a couple of women, put ropes around their necks & dragged them to the madrassah, but did NOT beat them (at least that's what I found on the BBC website). I won't post anything else about this to prevent going off-topic again :)

Your reasoing is not based on a hadith or ayah, but on Jamia Hafsa's students and news report from BBC. If you want to argue that niqaab is not obligatory then please bring evidence from Quran or Sunnah. And you don't have to convince me in this matter.

It is a misconcept that ihram prohibits covering the face in hajj. The reality is that cloth touching the face as in Niqaab is prohibited by the prophet SAW. The wives of the Prophet and those of the companions would cover their faces while seperating the cloth from the face using their hands when they would see a non-mehram coming near.
Now, hijaab according to most scholars including face covering. But whether is it mandatory or not, requires more understanding. Some scholars believe it is not mandatory but a matter of TAQWA (fear of AllahSWT) that a women hides her beauty which the face is also a big part of with the veil. We see these days that many times, youth fall for some actress or model just because of her face. So the face is a big source of attraction for men.
The last group of scholars think that face veil is not necessary at all. This group among scholars is the smallest however.

I agree with those scholars who say head-covering is fardh but Niqab isn't. I personally don't like wearing niqab, but I respect who wear niqab.
