I hear this over and over again around here. Ok I’d like to know how you guys implement Islam in your daily lives?
Now don’t go quoting stuff out of the Quran or give me idealistic views or talk about Namaz etc.. We already know all that. On a personal level what is it that YOU do to live the life of a muslim? Be honest..
If you can not change it, get over it already!

well this is the exact same problem i have with people, they think islam is a religion...to do 5 times a day, once a year(ramzan) twice a year(the 2 eids, and more so for shia's), but it's not that...it's a way of life...it's sorta hard to explain...u don't just finish doing namaz and start doing something totally unislamic, that word, unislamic...it shows that u r muslim or not, that u lead ure life in the way the Quran, the sunnah, has showed as purified...sorry...this is off topic, but i just needed to vent...umm i do namaz, haven't started earning yet soo i don't give zakat...what else...all the other stuff...i'm not a muslim...if u put it in terms of islamic and unislamic

Get up early in the morning, and start my Day with the Tahajud (if possible) otherwise say Namaz-e-Fajar! Just to spend time with Him and ask him for his forgiveness and I consider it the best way to start my day!
Then recite & study Quran, not only cos its of my religion but a Blessing from my Beloved!
I go out for a walk and seeing the beautiful life around me, I Thank Allah and His blessings! And only through my religion I know that all of this Has to have a Creator & all praises are for Him, and that the beautiful earth around me can not be the ONLY a form of evolution.
If my mother is not feeling well, as she is old, I make my own breakfast and also for the others in my household, so she can rest! This is also taught to me by my religion-to be kind to my parents!
As I reach my work, I do all of it with dedication and honesty as taught by my Islam. I am a good friend to my co-workers and help them in need as Islam teaches: a Good Muslim is Good to all the others & peace for its surroundings!
Do not curse, try to reserve my anger and smile a lot! When I see something good around me I encourage it and discourage those who do wrong, and consider it all my duty being a Muslim!
Love my country, and I am willing to do anything for it, as I cannot have complete faith in Islam if I don’t have compassion towards my nation!
