Tasawuf(tazkia/purification) =islah e amaal (deeds) +islah e ahwal (condition) +islah e ahklaq(manners)
Tasawuf =Islam is shariat +iman is tariqat +ihsan is haqiqat (complete /perfect/kamil deen)
Tasawuf= Perfection of islam iman and ihsan

kull deen =beginning islam+iman/faith+ihsan /prefection (kamal)
Kull deen = 1.ibadate elahi 2.ghulamane mustafa 3.mohabbate ahle baith 4.azmate sahaba 5. Shobate awliya .
Kull deen =Islam(muslim)-iman(momin)-ihsan(mohsin)
Kull deen =aqidah(tenants of the faith) +amal(deeds for the pleasure of allah alone)+ haal e dil (state of innerself)

Iman is connected with heart
Iman =kaifiyat e dil/heart or hal e dil
Islam =verifying with heart and declaring with tongue
Islam =is zahir ie itaat/obediance physically.

Islam=obedience /submission (zahir/physical)
Iman=faith is baatin(in the heart)

Islam =zahir amal (shariat/law)
Iman =batin amal(tariqat/path)
Both islam and iman should be balanced for perfection/ihsan

Body follows heart therefore clean heart= clean zahir amal
Heart =(place)muqame iman
body =(palce) muqame islam

Body is beautified with islam
Heart is beautified with iman

In islam body faces kaabe but in iman heart faces rabe kaaba
Islam=itaat/obedience of body
Iman= itaat/obedience of body

Islam =way of living (pillar/arkane islam)
Iman =faithfully fulfiling (aqidah/tenets of faith)
Ihsan =perfection/kamil(hal/kaifiyat/stations )

Islam =amal
Iman=aqidah
Ihsan=fazal

Amal/deeds are governed with justice/adl
Adl/justice is islam and fazal is ihsan
Fazal= is not governed with law its wish of allah

Islam =arkane islam /pillars of islam (amal/deeds) for example undestanding kalima=tauhid+risalat
Iman =iman e mujamil +iman e mufassil (tenets of faith)
Ihsan =perfection/hal or kafiyat (stations)

Batin amal(tariqat/path)

Deals with aqidah /faith (baatin)
Acts of faith
Connected with heart
Associated with peace/sukoon
Related with alaam e ghaib(unseen world).
Increases if heart andphysical organs are same.
Decreases if heart and physical organs are not same.
Beautifying heart with acts(amaal) and states(afaal)
Related with those things which we don’t see with our eyes.
Related with tariqat
Kaifiyat e dil/heart or hal e dil
Deals with tawakkal/sabr /shukr (nimat is from allah ,he knows best)
Faith is baatin(in the heart)
Iman gives rise to tariqat and iyn ul yaqeen(witnessing)- 72/16, 20/104(word tariqat is used)
Iman = be in the world but don’t keep world/duniya in your heart (Rahbaniat=living worldly life totally )
Rahbat from worldly desires to desire allah
Rahbaniat =living worldly life totally .
haqiqat e iman= What ever you do love/hate/desire/work etc etc –do it for the pleasure of allah (NO NAFS/I)

MOMIN
Those whose hearts are filled with ishq(excessive love) and fear /khauf (kafiyat/hal of the heart)
Quran increases their iman
Tawakkal/trust on allah
People of sabr/patience
Zahir(physical) and baatin(spirtitual heart) both are present .
Along with his body his heart also bows to allah.
Heart bows to rab e kaaba
Does zikr of allah and also prophet.
Balances tauheed and risalat.
They spend wealth and lives (they don’t doubt)
Istaqamat/steadfast on islam
Noor of iman enters into heart
No disobedience/sinning
Momin(faithful) and fasiq (open sinner) are opposite to eachother
Blessed with peace .
Blessed with tazkia nafs (worldly things doesnot change the state of heart)
Muqtasid /moderate –balanced –complete deen
Ausat iman (moderate)
Loves allah the most
Weighing of deeds/hisaab but no azab/punishment in barzak and ahkirat
Passed in ahkirat (because of good quality of worship with presence of body and heart )for them day of judgement is of few days
Direct jannat (elite jannat)
Allah is mehaboob and also muhib (for special servants/mohsin servants )
Loves allah the most
fazal of allah is with them.
Sins are wiped out through difficulties .

TREATMENT FOR HEART DIESEASES
How to gain Qurbiat/Nearness of Allah Ta'ala ? **
**You need 4 things 1.knowledge 2.love 3.akhlaaq 4.nawafil (other than fariaz)
Amal e Zaahir are farz,wajib,sunnat, nafil ,mubah,makrooh,mustahab etc etc
Amal e baatin are sidq ,iklas,rida,khushu ,khuzu,sabr ,shukr,tawakkal,khauf ,raja etc
Amal e baatin which are haraam are nifaq(munafiqat) ,kirb ,ujub ,riya,hasad,buzk ,kina etc
Always pray for pleasure of allah this is sidq niyyat
Praying for show off is riya niyat –punishable by allah
ACQUIRING Zuhd **-is to meditate on the defects, harms and ephemeral nature of the world, as well as to reflect on the benefits and the everlasting nature of the Aakhirat.
**ACQUIRING TAWAKKUL - is by contemplating the bounties of Allah Ta'ala, His Promises and one's past success.
ACQUIRING SABR **- by weakening the desires of lust and emotion.
**ACQUIRING SHUKR - by contemplating the bounties of Allah Ta'ala.
ACQUIRING SIDQ **- Constancy in improving and perfecting one's acts will ensure within a short while the perfect state of Sidq.
**THE REMEDY FOR Taqwaa-To abstain from sins.
THE REMEDY for hubb-e-jaah-Meditate on the futility of hubb-e-jaah. Neither the one who honours nor the one who is honoured will remain. All will perish. It is therefore childish to be delighted over such a transitory and illusionary attribute. Contemplating in this way will eliminate this malady. Contemplate on the power of Allah and fear the possibility of the gifts being snatches away.
THE REMEDY for hubb e duniya-Remember maut (death) in abundance / do not involve yourself in distant and remote hopes. In this way the love of the world will be eliminated from the heart. "Die before your death." This Hadith means that one has to inculcate the attribute of the dead in one even before death, and that attribute is the lack of worldly love. Contemplate on the power of Allah and fear the possibility of the gifts being snatches away.
THE REMEDY for riyaa- is the expulsion from the heart of the desire for fame and name(love for name, fame and glory). Execute your acts of lbaadat in solitude. Execute specific act of Ibaadat in abundance. Within a short while the riyaa will be dispelled and by force of habit the Ibaadat will become sincere.
ACQUIRING FANAA *- by mujaahidah and Zikr in abundance( tongue and heart).
**DYING BEFORE DEATH *(This is the life which Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wasallam desired for his Ummah).These attributes which are in the perfect state in the dying man(as is the position at the time of maut) are:
*Taubah (repentance)-to emerge from all evil *
*zuhd, (abstention)- to shun the world and everything in it *
**Qanaa'at (contentment)- abstention from lowly desires-- to be contented
tawakkul (trust in Allah)- to shun all abnormal worldly agencies **
*Azlat (solitude)- to sever all ties with creation *
**Tawajju I'lallaah (attention directed to Allah Ta'ala)-only Allah Ta'ala attention
sabr (patience)- to shun pleasures
Ridhaa (pleased with Allah)- to abstain from pleasing the nafs
Zikr (remembrance of Allah)- to submit in entirety to Allah Ta'ala
muraaqabah (meditation)-the body is on earth, but the rooh should be directed to the Aakhirah, and be in communion with Allah Ta'ala. **
*Note -Bandah’s relationship with Allah means (obedience) +consciousness+ striving to follow the Sunnah. **Salaat is an all-embracing form of worship. If executed properly, observing all its rules, conditions and respects then no other specific form of Riyaadhat (spiritual exercise) is necessary for spiritual progress and the achievement of Nisbat Ma'Allah. **Salaat contains Zikr, Shaghl(silent zikr), Muraaqabah, Auraad, e.g. Tasbeeh, Istighfaar, Darood etc. *

TYPES OF HEART
Tariqat helps in purification of heart
1.Purified heart is free from dieseases of heart is alive and spiritual . **
**2.Dieseased heart is one which has both qualities of good and bad .
*3.Dead heart is filled with bad conditions of heart like nifaq ,kirb,riya etc *

2.Lively heart are of 2 types 1.Noor heart 2. Noor spreading heart 6/122 (Strongest ruh is that which gives noor to others because their own nafs has turned into noor) Noor e qalb is hayat (alive) --zulm e qalb is maut(dead) -Shirk is zulm ie why they are dead.
3.Combination of zulm and noor =qalb e mariz (on /off towards noor and zulm)
If Ruh occupies heart he will improve and if nafs occupies heart he will loser
Strongest heart (ruhani heart) is that which gives noor to others because their own nafs has turned into noor. Nafs become mutmainah because of heart is filled with sukoon/peace.
What ever heart receives from allah -Heart keeps feeding nafs and makes its ammara –luwamah-mutamainah, mardiyah
Heart keeps feeding the nafs . now nafs is like heart and heart is like ruh and ruh occupies sir and sir occupies khafi and khafi occupies akhfah then human becomes angelic

"He it is Who sent down calmness and tranquillity into the hearts of the believers, that they may grow more in Faith along with their (present) Faith…….." (48/4)
On the Day of Resurrection, only those who come to Allah with a healthy heart will be saved.
THE HEALTHY HEART - Its services are exclusively reserved for Allah, willingly and lovingly, with total reliance, relating all matters to Him, in fear, hope and sincere dedication. It is a heart cleansed from any passion that challenges what Allah commands, or disputes what He forbids. seeks the judgment of no other except that of His Messenger (saws). When it gives, it gives for Allah. If it withholds, it withholds for Allah.
THE DEAD HEART - It does not know its Lord and does not worship Him as He commands, in the way which He likes, and with which He is pleased. It clings instead to its lusts and desires. It has whims , lust , ignorance ,crude impulses and more concerned with worldly objectives. To associate and keep company with the owner of such a heart is to tempt illness/utter destruction. **No noor e iman (no iman no ihsan in heart)THE SICK HEART -This is a heart with life in it, as well as illness. The former sustains it at one moment, the latter at another, and it follows whichever one of the two manages to dominate it. **It has love for Allah, faith in Him, sincerity towards Him, and reliance upon Him, and these are what give it life. It also has a craving for lust and pleasure, and prefers them and strives to experience them. It is full of self-admiration, which can lead to its own destruction. It listens to two callers: one calling it to Allah and His Prophet (s) and the afterlife (akhira); and the other calling it to the fleeting pleasures of this world. It responds to whichever one of the two happens to have most influence over it at the time. **
**QALB E SALEEM (the sound/satisfied heart)-this heart is absolutely free from Kufr (disbelief),Nifaaq (hypocrisy),Kibr (pride), Hasad (jealousy) and Hiqd (hatred) who always entertain good thoughts regarding others .this heart has extreme love and obediance for allah and his rasool (saws).it fears allah the most and it keeps desiring zikrullah. it thinks only about allah . free from carnal desires,doubts,uncertainity.filled with fear, hope and trust allah alone. worships only to please allah.nafs is mutmainah
QALB E MUNEEB (the Heart Turned to God/inabat (18/33) )-this heart is full of repentance ,shukr ,, haya/modesty. always in the state of meditation .This heart can prevent a person from mischief but it can not make a right judgement. Raza/satisfied with allah +shukr +24/7 allah allah +rusk
QALB E SHAHEED (the Witnessing /mushahada Heart (18/37)) -Tajalliyat of allah begin to fall on the Heart it shows obediance and servitude to allah .heart with zikr and noor of allah. it witnesses haq in everything.It is annihilated through love (Hubb), fascination (Walah), and passion (Ishq) into the light of the beauty of the essence of the Lord of causes who is its Beloved and Protector. Start seeing hidden world .
TREATMENT :Keep doing touba/astagfar regularly inshaallah he will forgive all your sins.Follow sabr and shukr .Don’t be angry and dejected .Hope for the rewards and be in fear that allah is watching me always. Always do ibadat with heart and soul. Have deep love for prophet (peace be upon him) by heart and also following prophets way of living. increase darood o salaam (it will cover up for all the problems).

Functioning of nafs-heart-ruh
Nafs /lower self and ruh /higher self keep competeing for a place on the heart .if ruh takes up position on heart its called rohani/spiritual/noorani and if nafs(black in natura) occupies the heart its called hiwani/animal instict .
Nafs wants heart to be like it and ruh wants heart to be like it.If heart becomes his ruh then allah will become his eye ears tonque hand leg etc becomes arshi /angelic.

Nafs always commands bad and against sharia
Ruh always command good and loyal to sharia
Heart is king of the body.If heart is without haya his entire sense organs will be with out haya/adab.

Lively /Ruhi heart is filled peace /salamati
Salamati /peace means no hirs /greed ,no jealousy ,no haterd ,no hasad etc
Lively heart is happy to see allah rewarding others with name /fame /wealth /knowledge etc etc -no jealousy
Always be razi/satisfied with what you have.

Muttaqi are awliya allah. muttaqi are those without seeing bring imaan.Persons with Qalb be saleem(raza/satisfied heart ie awliya allah) will profit others even on day of judgement.Wali/Friend means one who profit others.(Qalb e saleem )Spiritual friendship is profitable here and hereafter .
Abdals are having heart like of ibrahim(as)---1.guiding others towards good deeds + qalb e saleem + sakhi (generousity)+ concerning good for entire ummah.
Tasawuf is not about tasbih,wazife ,wird or extra ibadat its about
1.salamate qalb(purification of heart) and husn e ahklaq (manners).
2. No nafs when dealing with people and No MYSELF/I when seeking allah.
3. sidq(perfection) with respect to allah and good manners with respect to people
4. extra ibadat will help but wilayat is blessings from allah rewarded for those 1.guiding others towards good deeds + qalb e saleem + sakhi (generousity)+ concerning good for entire ummah.
