I said that cousin marriages is one of the factors and not the only factor.I only suggested that there can be a ruling on that one by the ulemas if it can diseases can be prevented why not prevent them? just like Thalassaemia Major can be prevented to some extenet by discouraging marriages between those who suffer from Thalassaemia minor.Cousin marriages or for that matter outside the family
