My opinion is CHANGE THE SYSTEM its too old fashion. We are in Modern age science computers advanced technology space travel and other break through are happening everyday.
We need a latest car the smallest and most expensive cellular phone a flashy watch fast and up dated computers and other modern utilities for our daily life then why are we neglecting the religious part of our life ?
Humans have come far from living in caves Ok I am not talking about Afghanistan situation we need to improve our years and years old culture and allow some modern and safe facilities to people.
Lets all Beg to the Molvie Sahib to help us tailor this religion so we don’t leave the actual boundery’s and fundamentals of Islam and yet live and fit in the modern age as well.

Fast cars, cellular phones, advanced technology, etc have as much to do with Islam as “darhi, oonch poinch, tasbhee” etc. I qoute Mr. Fraudia from another thread: ** “We get too preoccupied with painchaa, darrhi, tasbeeh … what about the personality, behavior, outlook, gentleness, simplicity, graciousness, that a true muslim should have”** and I completely agree with him. That is what should be far more important and we do not need any Molvi Sahib’s blessing to implement that as muslims.

As we know pakistan inspite of nuclear tech is still part of the third world countries. Our women are discouraged to come forward as a brain power and work force because the male coleague is so frustrated having a woman working next to them that he cant focus on his work either he thinks how to get into her clothes or is afraid she might succeed him and get the post that he is not eligible for anyway. To eliminate that situation they chirp the narra of islam and say woman's place in islam is at home not out side. Although the trend has changed a bit and people do send their girls out for education but the majority thinks even if she dont do well in school so what she got to go and take care of the choolah choki anyway. GENTLENESS means a weakling and kamzore. To improve these kind of mentality we need the molvi to stop scaring us of what bad things are going to happen us if we dont come to the mosque and pay his chanda instead they need to improve the personality and the behavior and the out look of todays muslim. We can dress modren and still be in guide lines of islam. Where is the islam of being and showing yourself as a role model and inspire people to be like you? Look at saudi's from where the islam came from they sit on mountains of Gold and they have rivers of oil and yet muslims in india and pakistan and africa die of hunger and other necessory needs? are the wali's of mecca the khalifa of muslims the khadim's of kaaba suppose to follow what the messenger of allah the holy prophet? (PBUH) look at our politics all mullah is involved and working Islam to gather voets... We need to fix these problems and make things easier for everyone because we live in todays age not 1500 years back. There was no USA and no Super Powers modifying the world order back then. We need to UNITE and show the world there is no bigger power than Islamic power We have to study Hard get every last child that is a muslim educated and take control of the world. just like the jews did. No matter how many times the history has tried to wipe them off the face of earth. they bounce back even stronger. EVER THOUGHT OF THE REASON???????????????? UNITY. EDUCATION. MALE FEMALE WORK SIDE BY SIDE and yet they have their religious values intact. In New York no american hispanic black or any other race or religion child can get admition in a jewish school. They have their own busline their own teachers theur own security and they can grade their students what ever they please. Every year tons of Doctors Engineers scientists judges attorneys news midia editors TV news anchors Business administrators Hollywood Movie makers Any sort of MIdia or cultural controler you will always find a jewish person on the top controlling every thing with his fingertips. The ""bad"" things you talk about aren't the ones islam has allowed in the first place. (gettin votes, mullah politics etc) Graciousness, kindness, simplicity are traits that a muslim must possess. It is said that a person who has even an ounce of pride in his heart will not enter jannah. Personality traits matter when it comes to being a muslim, and the Prophet(saww) had the kindest of personalities.
So should I take that you're actually saying we should return to what we used to be? Or should we remodel islam?
And now that you have spotted a problem in the way muslims behave(today).. and it is a problem that all of us are painfully aware of, what steps do you suggest be taken? being a role model is the best one i suppose.. hmm, what else?
Well, I dont think he meant change Islam itself to suit the 21st century, but instead change the way we think about it...instead of thinking about it as rules and rules that are inflexible to think of other things...like for example....all i hear is wear hijaab wear hijaab wear hijaab, but why not "lets teach our men what self-control and respect for women is all about". Obviously, Islam is big about self-control and respecting women, its just the way we approach the issue of man and woman that makes the difference....
do you focus on one ruling that says women should cover their heads and dress modestly alone, or do you go all holistic by focussing on male AND female self-control as well?

I have heard some jews in NY claiming that he was a jew (yeah you wish) like they say jesus was a jew. To my knowledge he was a simple and plain muslim....
