I agee you, this title shocked me for a while.
But there are people, no matter how much they read and learn because of their stubborn nature they wont admitt anything good about Islam.
So such people should read books like this one instead of asking and revealing their nature.
I haven't read the book, so saying anything about the content wouldn't be justice. But around Sep 11th I was working for a bookstore & we sold this book and many more on Islam like hot cakes. We were constantly running out of Qurans.
Actually there are many other books about other religions by the same publisher. Like "Catholics for Dummies", "Judaism for Dummies" etc.
As most people in America aren't very familiar with the history or the teachings of Islam and they consider themselves 'dumb' when it comes to any other religion. And sure enough the title appeals to them.
I would buy if I can find one "Taoism for Dummies" or "Native American Religions for Dummies" :)
