DO, no one is ganging up on you. All people are saying is that you cannot blame a religion for the faliure of its followers. We don't need to fix Islam, we have to fix the people following Islam.

yup,actually tht si ri8! wat we need to do is tht follow islam and pursue otherz to follow QURAN instead ov these so called religious organizations! they cant do anything except making ppl conservative abt so liberal and modern religion!
Unfortunately, all these religious jamatain didn't do any constructive work, for most part they were busy creating differences and using people for their personal agendas. People are getting worst because we all have forgotten the core values of our culture and religion.
no doubt. I believe that some of these jamatain are creating an image of Islam which shows extremism. One thing that irritates me kay ye kahan likha hai ke ap ke biwi bachay peechay suffer kar rahay hon but ap Tableegh-e-Islam ke liye dunya ke kisi bhi konay main chalay jao baghair apni family ka huq ada kiye? this sounds really weired. People need to learn how to behave and live with their relationships first then they would be able to follow the Islamic teachings.

Islam had not failed nor it could be. Unfortunatly we as a muslim failed to follow true Islam.
and we today come under western propaganda against Islam and muslims.
and the maulvis of which ur talking about are those maulvis taday about which our Prophet Hazrat Muhammad(SAW) said that near qyamah the ulema will be those who will misinform ummah and lead to wrong direction against Islamic teachings and such ulema will go to hell.
and today we can see all the signs of qyamah! every thing is according to what our Nabi Hazrat Muhammad(SAW) said.
and his sayings can never be wrong. and now is the time of fall of muslims as he said bcoz today many of signs of qyamah have arrived.
and this time today is the time of our defeat against enemy and noone could right this bcoz it is said by him.
and is obvious.
we can today only fullfill our own responsibilitiz according to Islam and just pray and preach Islam to not just others but also implement practically first of all on ourselves.
nothing else we could do now.
im surprised that nobody had thought about this point!

what iam saying is there are thousands maulvis groups parties pirs sufis all are claiming that they are oreaching for islam. what they are preaching is to be a good muslim.
instead of there preaching bringing people near to islam they are going away.
look at previous election results i think most islamic parties lost their seats in pakistan

Unfortunatly it will happen but it doz not mean that we stop fullfilling our own respnsibilitiz as well bcoz we are answerable for our every action to Allah!

all religions contain teachings that if followed by all will make for a better world. so this problem is not unique to islam.
all it proves is that religion is not enough to make people good.
Bailout! i totally disagree with you! you mean to say in your last line that Nauzobillah Islam as a religion is not a total solution to all problems which is condemnable.
Islam has every aspect of life in it but we are ignorant that we neither know the teachings of Islam nor we follow it.
