Malulana Tariq Jameel can be understood by everyone but Dr. Israr uses a very difficult diction and at times not understood by common people. PLUS Dr. Israr Ahmed is not a scholar but Maulana Tariq Jameel is.
There is a difference.

dr sahib paints a bleak picture. i remember in the early days, he was quite optimistic about musharaf. i havent been to pakistan for a while, so i cant really comment on how bad things are. but having lived thru zia, i can safely say that army rule tends to liberalize society. ppl might say that zia had the opposite effect, but the cold war required a religous environment.
as far as india attacking pakistan in the near future, it will not surprise me if things come down to it.

YEs doctor sahib is a scholar...Self studied scholar.....well respected scholor whose findings should not solely be relied upoun unless confiremed by some known/renowned aalim..

Is this some thing bad or is it unconventional?
Is it because he never belonged to any particular Islamic educational group, which is pretty predominant in Pakistan?
