You are taking a stab at Pakistan that according to you "is a country" stuck with "incorrect Islam". That in itself is a sorry excuse. Whatever Islam exists in Pakistan is the best or correct Islam you are going to get. If you don't like it, it is OK, but do not call it "incorrect" Islam. There is no such thingy. There is either correct Islam or there is Kufr.
Islam these days exist in bits and pieces across many countries and nations including Pakistan. Many islamic values are also integrated into so called non-muslim country laws such as equality and justice and respect for human being and abolition of cast system etc...
No one can claim it has the 'best' Islam. In order to say that one has to agree that there is bad or worse 'islam'.
Islam requires continued efforts to do better than yesterday and not stand still with a misguided approach that one has achieved the best way of practicing the religion.
There is no best or correct Islam. You are not picking aloos (potatos with an e) from a shop that you can say Ummm this is too big, Ummm this is a bit rotten, Ummm this is good.
For Islam, you simply get bunch of Mullahs together and say:
OK Hazrat! What have we got on our hands today.
Mullahs say, Sharia my baap.
So you say, bring it on, we love Shariah,
We want hand chop chop,
We want to behead people for blasphemy
and we want to put bulltet holes in some adulterers.
Mullahs say, everything is in Sharia. Just close your eyes and drink it down. It may hurt a little, but heaven is just around the corner.
So that's how you get Islam. Now don't go around and say this Shariah is wrong and that Sharia is correct.
Islamic Shariah is the best way to live by, without much crime (due to stricter punishments) , and to prevent poverty (statistically proven if people payed zakat)....Saudi Arabia has always employed the Shariah and look at the results...and now look at the other muslim countries trying to impersonate the western countries...see a difference? exactly :)
Shariah is just another good system. Some like it some don't.
Its a collection of rules and laws followed by muslims for centuries and has been extremely successful in achieving the best results for the societies to embrace it and accept it.
Off course with shift of powers, other systems are now more common and are being accepted and....... illiterates/ill-informed are bashing shariah system.
