After 9/11 Muslims facing a lot of problems all over the world and sometimes media is being with them and for this reason we cant get the right information. I have seen a lot of writings where people talking about Islam and Muslims and our Prophet(SM) bad. I tried to make them understand with my words but they were denying my logic. Even people who don’t know Islam and Qur’an also saying a lot of bad words about Islam. I was hurt and I know a Muslim cant take this easily. We should explain every where this facts.This is my request to my all Muslim brothers.

Media is the most powerful tool out there by far in shaping peoples opinions. A huge part of the problem is that muslims dont have huge access to resources like media - not in the way that others do so we are seriously lagging behind in that regard. And while there are channels like Al jazeera out there, they are hardly mainstream news channels that are viewed on a wide scale. So to counter the muslim bashing in existing mainstream channels muslims need to utilize the media more. That way it gives muslims a platform to counter all the muslim bashing and everyone will see that we are not all bomb strapping psychos. Obviously there is still gonna be that small ignorant minority that will continue to bash anyway...
We're you trying to engage with and convince some people sticking to their views in comments section of some news story? Not the people worth engaging with. Some people have ignorance sunk in the depths of their beings and it's really not worth the time to argue with them. I would say use that time to do something that makes a change and demonstrates who we are, help people, support community and charities, be engaged in your institutions.

Parts of the media are to blame but there are plenty of Islamic extremists in the UK who ruin it for peaceful Muslims. They have no intention of integrating into British culture. These are people who hate the West and want to establish their Islamic ghettos within the UK but are still happy to live off the state
Such people who although are significant in number are still only a minority within a minority but can still be dangerous.

Rather than explaining them ask what he/she knows about 9/11? What they say about invading other Islamic countries? It's easy to pointing out fault in any picture but its harder to fix it.

This seems to be quite a big problem within the pakistani muslim community in particular. I know of arabs and turks who have assimilated well into british culture. The simple fact is that xenophobia is rife within the pakistani community. Pakistanis have an "us vs them" mentality. "these are not our people" "this isnt our country". Thats fine. But then dont start *****ing that whites arent accepting you.

I think that we all are concern by it.All muslims are brother,Its us who put limitations and boundaries.In Islam all muslims are brother of each other.Its like a bond for all of us.
