When I have been talking GAY I mean those who share bedroom affairs. There is nothing against same gender friendships in either Islam or IMO in general either. I do not associate the word GAY with two people of the same gender spending time together or having fun together or hanging out with each other. I berate it only if it involves sexual relations with each other.
Eradicated? Are you nuts? Homosexuality has existed in nature from the beginning of time. It can't be eradicated. God would have to eradicate it, not the fundamentalist police. Even with the homophobic built-in hatred that exists in Islamic societies, homosexuality has flourished amongst Muslims.
What is this terrible harm that homosexuality causes society? Outside of the affront that it has on your superior morality?
I have met many wonderful, caring, God-loving gay couples that contribute a lot to society. A hell of a lot more than hate-mongering, intolerant fundamentalists.

This is is true! The most religiously affected areas of Pakistan are the areas where pushtoons live and once a a pushtoon told me "if they will see a boy and a girl together, they will kill both, but if they see two males together, they will just ignore it!".
