Islam and homosexuality...

Islam actually requires Muslims to love one another. That is my Muslim brother and myself should love one another, but this to clarify is not classed as "gay" in Islam. It is so considered "gay" in Western circles. For some reason if a man loves a man in the West it is assumed that they bed each other, and some 'gay' supporters feel that there is nothing wrong in a man loving another man, it is not the same thing now is it? There is something wrong in man loving another man as if he is his wife, that is what is wrong.

To be intimate with another man such that it causes them to arouse one another is wrong according to Islam even if they haven't actually engaged in any sexual contact.

It is because the West have this macho stigma to being heterosexual that has caused certain 'loving' traits to be classed as 'gay' when in fact they are innocent.

So by being gay is also as wrong as undertaking the act of gays, because being gay infers that one believes that the sexual orientation is a choice that they are entitled to. Being heterosexual is our normal disposition but we are only held accountable for undertaking illegal intercourse, however, even as much as 'being gay' is wrong it is not punishable by the state unless it is seen as recognisable as an unhealthy relationship by the people who stand witness or people have seen the act. As far as I understand.
