ISIS threw Iraqi Spies in Nitric Acid

What would be expected from a bunch of hardened criminals who pride in their brutalities? Just to grab headlines they have stooped even lower to drown people in tubs of nitric acid. Remember IS has lost over 40% of territories that they controlled in Iraq and Syria just a few months ago, and they are constantly shrinking due to actions of Iraqi, Kurdish and coalition forces. Keep assured that the international coalition will keep pounding these terrorists till they cease to exist and their brutalities are erased forever.

Re: ISIS threw Iraqi Spies in Nitric Acid

Where are they getting such amount of nitric acid from? What horrifies me is not their barbaric practice, but the fact that these guys have access to arms and weapons and acid. They are not manufacturing this in their backyard. Someone is selling it to them. Who?

Re: ISIS threw Iraqi Spies in Nitric Acid

If you are really against these guys then why don’t you go ahead and eliminate them as you did with nazi regime and saddam hussein? At you could track nd stop the supply of money, arms and ammunition that they have easy access to.

Re: ISIS threw Iraqi Spies in Nitric Acid

Nitric acid is a very common industrial chemical because it's used to make fertilizer. There are many fertilizer factories throughout Iraq and the neighbouring countries, I can't imagine it would be hard to buy a tanker and drive it across the border from a neighbouring country.

Bear in mind that ISIS-land is not surrounded by an impenetrable barrier. To the north the Turkish border is rife with smugglers, just as it has been for decades. Hence Turkey is the main route for people both joining ISIS and defecting from ISIS - the smugglers loyalty is only to those who can pay them. To the west a lively smuggler network manages trade between ISIS-controlled land and Syrian government controlled land (for example the smugglers help make sure that the Syrian government continues to be able to buy gas from the gas fields under ISIS control, since ISIS is willing to sell gas for even cheaper than the Syrian government's allies). To the south the Iraqi government is completely corrupt and unable to get the smugglers under control no matter how hard it tries. This means that corrupt Iraq security forces officers will sell weapons and ammunition to the black market in Iraq and claim they were lost, and these will be bought my smugglers and sold for big profits to ISIS.

What ISIS has is money, and easy access via smugglers to markets outside of its lands.

Also, don't forget the spoils of war. Many security analysts tracking ISIS twitter accounts point out the massive volumes of military loot that ISIS captures in both Iraq and Syria. Especially when Mosul was captured, ISIS captured the weapons depots of the Iraqi army forces that were supposed to be there - weapons enough for 20,000 to 30,000 combat troops.

Similarly in Syria, whenever ISIS have overrun a Syrian Army position it is amazing how much weaponry the Syrians left intact and unused prior to their defeat.

They are using FEAR as their wepon for success. PPl fighting them have fear of what could happen to them if they fight and get caught. Many are willing to run away..
