AP bas apni hi dunya may hai. I guess the issue is that a civilian should head ISI, but the way this govt right now is flouting rules, so there is no guarantee is there that a crook wouldn't be installed taking ISI to a new low. Pakistan needs a new constitution on the design of the american one where there is a clear separation between executive and legislative branch: the westminster system doesn't work in Pakistan unlike the UK where there is party politics, not family or individual politics like bhuttos etc.

So the question is will the PPP government do what is necessary to stop the Military and the ISI meddling in politics. Not extending Pasha would be the first step.

This was the worst bomb blast that I experienced, there was an attack on FIA buildings at temple road and model town in March 2008. I was about 10-15 kms from both places and I could hear the bang. Over 500 Kg used especially in the temple road attack.
The attack on Srilankan team and I passed through Liberty chowk about 15 minutes before.
The attack on ISI building Lahore, again heard a bang, and could see flames rising from about 500 m away.

We can add attack on Srilankan team as well, as that has ended Pakistan as a map of world countries hosting international tournaments.
