ISI active in Assam: DGP
Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI is active in Assam and measures are being taken to contain its activities, state police chief P.V. Sumant said on Friday. “There are reports that the ISI is active in the state and we are taking follow up measures to contain its activities,” Sumant told a press conference. However, there were no ‘hard evidence’ that ISI was directly linked with the outlawed ULFA. But the “police was leaving no stone unturned”, he said. Commenting on the recent developments regarding talks with the ULFA, Sumant said the signs (for negotiation) have been positive but there would be no let up in the operations against the insurgents.
Moreover there are reports that ULFA has regrouped of late in neighbouring Bhutan since the flushing out by the royal Bhutan Army. “Law and order has to be maintained at any cost and all efforts will be made to ensure peace,” he said adding there has been significant improvement in law and order due to the increase in peoples’ awareness.

even if ISI is active what is the big deal? all the sectarian and ethnic violence in pakistan is due to RAW agents.RAW agents go about blowing mosques and slaughtering thousands of innocents in pakistan
before making any hasty conclusion, we must have clear video taped footage of men wearing ISI hats and t-shirts with ISI badges performing such activities.
then only can any such accusation be remotely valid.
