im with you on this one…i think its only popular cuz its a foreign drama thats been dubbed the storyline is kinda subpar as compared to certain american n british soaps for example…
even the story lines of today;s pakistani dramas (i.e. hum safar, shehr-e-zaat etc) are better than that of ishq e mamnu but if you like ishq e mamnu kinda of story line you’d be better off watching an american or brit soap (american if you dont prefer comedy in your soaps and brit if you prefer a bit of humor)
in short i think ishq e mamnu is over-rated
