No. He was appointed finance minister after sartaj aziz gave up on managing stuff after nuclear tests and the idiotic decisions of freezing foreign accounts.
I am just saying that they need to come up with budget in a few weeks and negotiate with IMF very soon and out of the elected candidates, there doesn’t seem to be a better choice at the moment. If you guys like, we can import someone like shaukat aziz later, get him elected and appoint finance minister.
