So I watching this music program and all of a sudden there was a break for “New yaaark mein isha ki azaan ka waqt ho gya hai”
Not only it made me guilty for not praying but it also felt so odd watching music then azaan and then going back to music again
Is it odd for anyone else too?
PTV used to do this with dramas…take 30 minutes of khabrnama break ..break the continuity all together and switch back to drama. Not to mention the second part of the drama used to be 30 seconds in-between fifteen minutes of advertisements.
well, if you believe that music is haraam to begin with, then why bother listening to it?
I have no guilty feelings, because I don't think music is bad.
Fayz I have a solution for you. Get up and say your prayers as soon as the azaan is shown on tv. You won't feel guilt that way.

Ok so what exactly is prime tv's issue? Why can't they put on islamic programs at namaz timings so the azaan is in keeping with the program that is interrupted. Prime sucks. They should be paying me $14.99 for subscribing.

PTV should have a separate channel for all qirat's, humd's naat's and azaans etc.. they should just run a scroll bar when it's time for azaaan in some hemisphere of the world without interrupting programs..
That would be an extra load of gunnah for no reason. I would feel guilty skipping qirrat to watch some pop gun type show. I'm pretty ok with the way it is.

Well PA I don't have access to that something which is going on somewhere right now do I? I cannot be punished for missing a Fajr namaz at the other end of the world while I am sleeping at 2am! But it is my responsibility to wake up and not miss my own fajr namaz.
