Isalamophobia

What is the correct interpretation of Islamophobia?
I read this word very often on GS, especially when Muslims have no excuses.

Re: Isalamophobia

ever read about salem's witch hunt?

Re: Isalamophobia

u mean when u get tired of crying(sorry trying) u start thinking maybe u cannot convince these ppl and they have islamophobia

Re: Isalamophobia

arent phobias an irrational fear of something, so islamaphobia would be an irrational fear of islam

Re: Isalamophobia

It's not irrational, it is very rational...

Muslims are demonized in the west, same as one time the Communists were, the Russians were, the Germans were, the Indians were, the Japanese were and many other others were...

This is a highly delicate PR balancing act...Instances like the Abu Ghraib, the Gitmo stories, tilt heavily the scales against US make-up jobs...But there are people, who see through the make-up, the mangled children, women, old men...

But the make-up believers need their daily dose of CNN and FOX which shout headlines with open animosity against the truth of Muslims and Islam...They tarnish or delicately cut out portions from the Truth, and try put a cover of dirt on the image of Islam...

But of course...I may be a fundo with delusional tendencies, but hey...There have been before me many who have been called delusional based on what they said, but in the end, history is proof of where they stand today...

The make-up believers must be made to be afraid...As long as they believe, our economy stays up...So, in comes the color-coded alerts to let Americans know how much constipated they mus be...In comes the smiling anchormen, who with a smirk and a smile, tell you about the latest bombing in Fallujah in which 500 orphans were slaughtered and how a 'terrorist' was killed using his own baby as a shield...Which in reality would be him cradling his baby from harm...

The latest monster in the western media is the Muslim...In comes the Patriot act, in which persecution is replaced with the words "racial profiling"...

Many are great supporters of restricting the rights of Arab Muslims like Ann Coulter, who BTW are great supporters of Bush too...

Hence, it is an irrational fear, but has the capability to incite rationally reactive fear...

Even you and me, if we were to be afraid of colors, would react the same way...Grin and smile at 'Moslems', while instinctively being afraid...Those with less humanlike traits and more piglike characteristics, would go so far as to hurt the 'Moslems' verbally or physically hurt them...A sign of great bravery in the western world...

Well, Islamophobia is a new phenomenon...Usually infects the dim-witted and the hard of learning...

Re: Isalamophobia

why don't we have a term like them Jews, they got all this anti-semitic business, they don't call it Jewaphobia.

I demand we get a new term like the Jews got. Or get rid of the anti-semitic wording and go with jewaphobia...demand equal rights!!

Re: Isalamophobia

^^

We do, it’s called having ‘anti-Muslim sentiments’…An affliction for which the only cure is an open heart…Unfortunately, knowledge doesn’t come in vials…:bummer:

Re: Isalamophobia

opening hearts sounds like major surgery to me, anyway that's way too long, how about something shorter and catchier.

we could start a groundswell in GS, how about starting with ajjan the little oik, trying to start trouble with his see through flimsy attempt at anti-truth.

"especially when Muslims have no excuses." and what do hindus do mate? blame it on shiva's fourth arm?

Re: Isalamophobia

Or blame the Muslims...

Anjjan, the prime example of an Islamophobe would be found in Gujrat, especially if torching a 5 year old baby...

Maybe closer to home, Bombay, would be the first guy burning the Quran...

Re: Isalamophobia

exactly on the point

Re: Isalamophobia

Can you explain it a little more…as here you have compared Muslims to some political groups, idological groups or races?

Re: Isalamophobia

Yes, this I understand…as there were some children burnt allive in Godhra train incident.
And later came the usual trend of declaring a design behind the massacre…may be this is Islamophobia?

Re: Isalamophobia

I have hindiaphobia.. :(
