Is your Mind,

anodynic - to your self and for others?

share your thoughts on this.

Re: Is your Mind,

yes very much.

It is rather antidotal.

Re: Is your Mind,

for myself, yes it is. Few moments alone in company of a good book does the trick. But at times, it can be quite painfull for others.

Re: Is your Mind,

yes, i think the mind is for one self since its exostence can not really be proven..

Re: Is your Mind,

^
I still am.

Re: Is your Mind,

On the contrary ... my mind causes me (my body) much discomfort. When I temper it with my spirit however ... I sleep quickly.

Re: Is your Mind,

Good words
but
those who cant temper it with spirit
tamper with it with spirits
to trick themselves

touche ... you should spend more time in the philosophy forum bro

Re: Is your Mind,

liquor versus dzikr hey X2?

Re: Is your Mind,

yes. because when you look at the very basic desire..in the end we are all chasing the same thing. there are right ways and there are wrong ways. you chose the right way, those who chose teh wrong way...really want the same thing, even if they describe it or understand it differently. its fellting and dangerous versus lasting and safe..physically and spiritually, that is a jump that people must make.

ask someone, are you at peace..with yourself
and if so how
and if now what do you do about it..

and their answer will tell you where they fall in their spiritual maturity
and how you can learn from them, or how you can teach them

I would, but then i may have to ask myself questions that I am not ready to answer.

Perhaps this is what I meant by the box analogy in the other thread ... But now I'm unsure of how clear you are being in this regard.

Re: Is your Mind,

I am being as clear as I am prepared to be at the moment :)

Re: Is your Mind,

Carry on friends, we would love to see some meaningful flooding in P&S.

Re: Is your Mind,

anodynic mind is known for its tendency to hold... to caress and to process the wounded thoughts, the negative feelings and the embittered body of a human being who very well could be the person who posesses such a mind.

Re: Is your Mind,

It depends on what you choose to focus your thoughts on. A lot of people spend time thinking about their problems and other negative things. We can choose to think positively, and that is easier said that done.

X2, I'm sorry but I don't understand at all what you're saying. You mind rewording it for me? It was bad enough I had to look up "anodynic" in the dictionary.
