Is Yoga popular among Muslims and in Pakistan?

Reconcilable Differences

If you are a Muslim and you’ve discovered yoga which has it’s origin in India and Hinduism, can the two go together?

yoga is not originated in arabic country
so pakistanis will not accept it

and the hindus will be quick to shun it in favour of whatever is latest is the west..
cuz if gora ppl do it, the indian hundus must do it as well

Now here is the thing... U ask:
If you are a Muslim and you've discovered yoga which has it's origin in India and Hinduism, can the two go together?

There are 2 parts in this question.
1. You are a Muslim
2. You practice Yoga.

I do not know anyone who does. but Rvikz, being a great scholar on Pakistani tendencies and Islam states:

yoga is not originated in Arabic country
so Pakistanis will not accept it

Why would anyone think of posing such a question? And y would rvikz bother answering such a stupid question. I donno, maybe its an Indian thing... Asking stupid questions and then giving even stupider answers. Ohh BTW i love the show you have going here. Congrats on wasting your time on such matters of International importance.

I will try to answer this question by another question (of equivalent intellect, of course) in the Indian fashion:

If you could plough the field, then you discovered the computer, can the two go together?

ohh and the even more intellectual response would be:

computers have not originated in a farm so people who plough the fields will not accept it!

Yoga has nothing to do with any religion. It is an exercise practice developed in Indian sub-continent. A lot of non-believers, atheists practice yoga.

Pak Muslims have rejected a lot of fundamental Islamic version of life. Their women don’t prefer parada. Theater, cinema and sex in cinema, modern dance-music have flourished in Pakistan, off course not without objection. Muslims may not have objection to yoga. Even if it is something Indian.
Yes, Taliban will not accept yoga. Because for them it is Hindu. Osama-bin-Laden will not allow them.
Whatever it is, to be a fundametalist is not an easy game.

Rgds

pakistan want to create its own identity
and it thinks only way to do is to eliminate
all traces of indianess. i really dont understand whay pakistan still calls indus river indus why it was not renamed?

we have our own identity.. thank you..

trying to eliminate traces of indianess?

what are you refering too?

i can think of a group of fanatical hindus in india that are bent on eliminating/re-writing history to remove traces of muslim dominance adn rule in india.
