He has flawed technique.
Doesnt know where his off stump is.
Lacks in patience.
Commits too much on front foot.
I know his average is 49.00. But take out BANGLADESH and he would be probably below 30.
With this technique he might survive in onedayers but test cricket is different ball game.
I think he shouldnot be in test team and Asim Akmal should be at No.3.

Can we have objective discussion here . If you wana discuss Zaheer open a new thread. who is stopping it. Counter the arguement not he person who is posting it.
If you know anything about batting you know what I am talking about...
Take out his record against bang and he is averaging 34 even after playing 6 test in Home ground and he is no.3 batsman.
He is an excellent player and has a lot of promise. However, he is sometimes too agressive and his shot selection is poor. He throws away his wicket too quickly as we saw him doing just that during the India Pakistan test series. He needs to be given some more chances but if he doesnt learn. then he is no better than Afridi and Imran Nazir and will be better off dropped.
He's a fairly inexperienced batsman who is learning. He has shown though that he he can handle most attacks. Stick with him and the likes of Farhat and they will be big assets for Pakistan.

I hope he does learn.I will be glad if proven wrong. Talking about Frahat,I think he has what it takes at this level.

And I hate it when people like you come here and isntead of discussing the issue attack person. That why you are an Idiot.
If you think it is ridiculous suggestion then counter me with argument the way I put my arguments to support my points.
And if you cant do it then shut your mouth.

This is the most idiotic comment I have heard. The world acknowledges Dravid as a great player. What about his double centuries in Australia and other places? Shephard was not there. However I agree that The Umpiring in the entire series was the worst I have ever seen. Even the clown of an Umpire (third umpire from Pakistan) didn't give Dravid out when he had snicked Kaneria.

OK I agree that umpires gave Dravid few benefits of doubts but u still have to give him credit for staying at the wicket and scoring 270. A lot of Pakistanis were also given benefits of doubts and then they were out next bowl or soon.. Inzi was out LBW clearly in the first inning but was given Not Out, Next ball he was caught behind and similar things happen all series wrong. Pakistani batsmen just didnt have patience to stay at the wicket, except for Asim Kamal who played 2 very good innings.

U better shut ur bl**dy mouth ..... better think about what i wrote and then reply .... it's easy to point at this and that once u r on top ...... about "cashing in once u r given a life by umpire or a fielder" i wrote in the other thread just go and read so u may know what i mean ...... also go back and read what i wrote about Dravid while the last test atch was on and he was playing at 11 i think ..... but u take the easy way to call others Idiot ..... einfallspinsel eines affen ...... i highly doubt ur knowledge of cricket as u proved by starting this thread but more over u proved that respecing others is something u missed during urupbringing/education ......
So never mind it only tells me u r a a***h mit Ohren
Yasir Hameed is one of the few players on this team that is the future of this team. F&B you should stop with biased India talk. Discuss Sehwags technique or discuss lack of your captains technique.
Yasir Hameed has scored one of the fastest 1000 runs. No reason he should be second guessed because a few 20's and 30's when most players on this team weren't even able to get 20's consistently like Taufeeq Umar, Imran Farhat etc. Problem is with the openers not as much with the middle order batsmen.
Dravid got saved 4times by different umpires. He is a very good batsmen but he is not a "Wall"
