Hi very on can yuo tell me if whale is haraam, during my recent trip to japan I was pesneted with whale meat,I was ready to tuck in then it occured to me a whale is a mamal not a very large fish??? hhmmm??? can eny brothers or sisters help me out???

Brother no it's not, some people get confused by a hadiths where Prophet (saws) said he didn't perfer whale meat, but it isn't haraam. I'll try to locate the hadiths, insh'Allah.
