Is wearing a “taveez” shirk??
Its not a shirk thats for real!
Shirk means associating someone else with allah... like another god. Or like a peer...something like that is a shirk. Wearing taveez can be termed bid'aa, but I dont know about it. I am not sure it is a bid'aa or not but it sure aint a shirk.
Since the practice does not have roots in Koran and Sunnah, it is a Renovation (Bid’aa) by definition.
Designer, Koran has been revealed for us to study and comprehend. Niether to keep in the high shelf and forget, nor to tie around arms and necks. I assure you, that if you comprehend the Koran, you will know of a key that solves all problems. I give you my word on it.
More than being shirk or Bid’aa, taweez is Useless.
