I have seen in movies that virgins are made fun off..and then there was this movie ‘40 years old virgin’…
those who live in those societies…please enlighten whether its real or just in the movies??

It depends. Most of my friends are white or westernized etc and if they perceive you to be someone who "can't get laid" then yes SOME people would make fun of you. If you're a beautiful woman or a guy who seems like he could get a date then they would probably express curiosity or give you a compliment for that. It sucks but people are shallow.
But if you're, say in your 40s and are still a virgin, desi people would question why you aren't married and white people would question why you haven't had sex yet. Both cultures kind of expect you to have done, something, by that age lol.

To be honest it is considered a stigma...but if anyone asks me i just say its something very important to me and only want to lose it with my husband not lose it at 15 16 and then have many partners. blah blah. and people usually get what i am sayin and even say it makes sense. but some people's focus in life is just to have sex to be honest...go out get drunk and get laid. i dont care what people think...:)

Depends on the individuals morals and religious beliefs and who they mingle with. A work mate of mine recently got married and was a proud virgin at the age of 29. Some at work found it weird, but respected her beliefs and it was never big deal. If they did judge her they did so in the privacy of their own homes etc nothing was said at work.

Virginity is only appreciated in nuns. Rest assured, if you are a virgin nearabout 40s, you’ll not be given warm respect by opposite gender. I got dumped by my brazilian origin gf when I told her I’m 25 and virgin.. That was the last time I told anyone that..
