Mumbai: It’s just been a day to the release of ‘Veer’ and signs are coming out for the Salman’s ego-project film to be a flop. The much awaited film known for its ludicrous costume, high school acting and straight-to-video storyline is however destined to be a flop – although there’s still some hope that it may pick up sales in the DVD market.

Early openings has showed a miserable 20-25% of occupancy. However, Salman still is certainly to be congratulated for his effort he put into making the movie different. Inspired by Taras Bulba, the film certainly has emotions, drama, and comedy unlike other period films that always throw an impression of no-laugh in those days.

The film continunes Salman’s dreadful run as an actor, where he has languished in ninth position far behind Aamir who sits on the throne for being number one, consecutively followed by Hrithik, Shah Rukh and Akshay Kumar.
