Is URDU going to die by generation 4???

i agree
you have to show how much you value something to your children so they learn and can pass that on eventually
I've lived in the US most of my life, which is why my urdu started to suck since my parents never really paid attention to the fact that their children's urdu will start to get crappy after a while if they don't speak it around the house
well anyways my dad eventually caught on and bought us urdu books so we can read and made usr read and write on our own ......my urdu has gravely improved thanks to my fiance since he was adamant about speaking it with me all the time and I can carry on conversations perfectly now :D
I am going to make sure my kids know how to speak urdu perfectly well

ps i've seen how people take pride in showing off that they don't know how to speak urdu....it's quite sad .......the last time I checked being multilingual was a good thing
