GDP in layman’s terms is the market value of all goods and services produced by a country.
The list that you need to look at is this:
List of countries by GDP (PPP) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
That tells you why the Indian and Pakistani economies cannot be compared. The list that you (Maria) provided takes a country’s GDP and divides it by its population. So obviously you have India (and Pakistan) languishing in such a list. If you take a close look China also comes up only at 99. But in absolute terms China’s economy is second only to the U.S.
Oh your right, I guess I qucily wiki’d it, anyways Thanks
but PK is above all the bigger countires and not too far, #26 is actually great considering Oakistan is 1/3 of India
