bascially my husband didnt even know what it was until few yrs ago. and even then i felt like i had to frogmarch him into the valentines card sections in our supermarket on shoppn trips. he says love should be expressed daily blahhh yada yda, well anyway, for the last 3 yrs he rushed out and used to buy me stuff on the day itself because most likely he realised i would kill him otherwise.
anyway this year i couldnt be bothered myself because he usually isnt, and we are in diff continents, and this time he calls me and moans how ive forgotten him this yr and why dnt i care this yr.....hain...cant win. jeez.=

Thankfully both of us don’t feel it’s worth making a big deal about. A special day is our anniversary and the day we first met

i got a box of chocolates (yum!) because he ran to the drugstore to grab some nasal spray (ugh) and saw it at the checkout. that's the extent of it in our household lol. there are bigger, better things to celebrate in life than some cheesy hallmark holiday.

Yea, lucky that this is the only holiday/important day that doesn’t fall during his stupid cricket season… mother’s day, my birthday (the two days that really matter!)he’s always MIA at his matches…come’s home at 7pm, all sweaty and gross after being gone for 8-10 hours…
