Well we have always been outsiders in the subcontinent.... my ancestors were central Asian... however sometime in the Middle ages we swepped into Hindustan and settled down inevatably mixing with the more noble natives and hence converting them into our own stock...
We have many relations in Rajastan and other Northern Indian states.

My grandparents from both my mom and dad's side are born in India. My Grandparents from my mom sides are from a city in India called Rampur and my grandparents from my Dad's side are from a place named Jhansi. Many people from my mom's side of the family chose to remain in India after the partition. Still to this date more than half of my relatives are in India like my uncle is a famous politician in U.P, his name's Azam Khan.
