my mother worked for Plan international (an NGO) back in Pakistan.. thier mansehra office was attacked by gunmen coz they were incited by local mullahs that it was angrez organization n it was working for angrez.. ppl working there who by the way were all local, were attacked and i think 6 were killed.. the office was closed down and wid it were suspended many programs aimed at betterment of the local ppl.. i can give u many other examples if u want.. our clergy does more harm than good..
