Assalam O Alaikum

I need to reference this verse for my thesis, however some websites are claiming that its not Iqbal’s work, if not who is the poet and when this verse was written. APA referencing

Tundi-e- Baad-E-Mukhalif se na ghabra, ae Uqaab;
Yeh to chalti hai tujhe uncha udane ke liye.

as far as i know:

on the net these days, a lot of ash'aar are intentionally or innocently been credited to Ustad sho'araa. some unscrupulous sho'araa adopt 'Ghalib', 'Iqbal' or 'Jigar' as their pen names and this way they want to misguide people into believing that those ash'aar are indeed written by the Ustad sho'araa.

if you pay a little attention to the language/style used in those ash'aar, it will don upon you that these can't be theirs.

in this case, the misr'a-e-oolaa does sound like Iqbal's language and style but the misra'-e-saanii hardly fits his style and/or language.

the sher'r in question is NOT 'allaamah Iqbaal's. let's see what others have to say.

This website (No, No. This verse is not by Iqbal… | Knonie’s Blog) claims that ***its written by ***Sayyed Sadiq Hussain Shah. If that’s true how can I find what year the poet wrote it.
