So yesterday, we had a die-in for Gaza, and someone took pictures and uploaded them on facebook, and on the main event page. I saw myself in one of the pics, and I felt really uncomfortable. I sent the person who uploaded them a friend request, and messaged them to remove the pics. I don’t know if that’s awkward or not. Anyways, I had to sent a friend request, if I just sent a message it would get disregarded and go in the “other” folder in your inbox. And a lot of people don’t know about the other folder, so they never check it.
I don’t want my pic on there, but I do kinda feel bad for asking them to remove my pic from there. Because you know, their intent was simply to highlight the event.
