Rice is putting on the tough act as usual. Iran for her part has dismissed the US constantly and continued focusing on establishing contacts and dialogue with the EU, so i can understand why she's miffed. They're not taking her 'cowboy' act seriously anymore. Do you blame them? As Syed Khameinie said the other day, the moment iran starts talking oil with the US, it'd all become hush hush in the nuclear and human right arena. Its all two faced and Iran as usual could give a fig. (note Rajput its 'fig'.) More power to Iran I say. Shes a great thorn in the rear.
This is part of the War against Nuclear Proliferation that was going on in the background before "War on Terror." It is only tangentially related to the "War on Terror." We Americans are involved in war on many fronts:
"War on nuclear proliferation,"
"War on Terror"
"War on Drugs"
"War on Illegal Immigration"
"War on Communism"
"War on AIDS"
All of these wars have areas of overlap, but also are distinct and part of the American war portfolio. :)
judging from the results of the "War on Drugs" and "War on Illegal Immigration", i'm not too hopeful about the "War on Terror" and "War on Nuclear Proliferation" episodes.
funny thing about that "War on Communism".. are we on a break from it? our largest trading partner happens to be a staunch communist regime...
and the Middle East already has nuclear proliferation.. Israel possesses more bombs than several other nuclear powers combined .. and India and Pak have it too.. so tell me again.. what's the score on these wars so far?
Kaleem check the op-ed in todays time by Krisftof. Interesting read. YOu wouldn't be disappointed by "My dear Leader" and his Uranium producing capabilities. It is now being saud that the Uranium found in Libya was not from Pk but came from DPRK.
