i think u mean for visa for husband. well it depends which country u applying visa for.

english is SPOKEN widely in US, UK (IRE n Scot i think), Canada, AUS and apparently no other country. (:ahaa: i think)…so now you may narrow down the choices. :cb:

so statistically speaking, it should he Chinese :hehe:

If you are referring to a person being in USA, applying for his/her spouse in Pakistan, then no, they don't take your interview. The only time when the spouse in Pakistan goes for Interview is towards the end of process before they are given the visa.

Once you apply for the Visa from USA, you will get applications/packets back and forth from Embassy in USA until you have submitted everything (such as Effidavit of Support, Tax Return...etc). Then your part will be done and the case will be forwarded to the Embassy in Pakistan. Once the case is submitted to Pakistan, the embassy in USA will have nothing to do with the case. After your part is done in USA, the applicant (spouse) in Pakistan will start recieving packets which he/she will have to fill and submit to the Embassy in Pakistan before he/she can be called for Interview. The interview is held in english/urdu and they have people who translate the english for the applicant (spouse) at the interview.

The interview can vary from person-to-person. Some people are given dates on time and some are given a little late. If certain amount of weeks passed once the spouse in Pakistan submitted everything, then you can contact the embassy in Pakistan and ask them for Interview date.

I also want to add that once the spouse in Pakistan goes for interview, he/she should take as much as possible: ranging from notorized copies of forms you submitted in USA (such as latest Tax papers, Effidavit, etc etc), proof of marriage (video, card, and as many wedding pictures as possible), the forms they recieved in Pakistan showing they were given Interview date, and other forms which may be necessary. It will be good to have atleast 3-4 files (one original file containing all the documents and the other 2-3 files should be copies of original).
