I think there is no need to change the batting line up of india coz i think this is the strongest batting line up of india.
One thing more that if india come to pakistan i am damn sure, indians batsman will give a srong headache to pakistan side. Pakistani curators will be in two minds, if they make fast pitches there own batsman cannot handle it and if they make slow pitches then indians batsman will have upper hand.

To make it the greatest Indian line-up of all time, you would only need to make two changes. Bring in Gavaskar and Azharudin.
Who would you replace to accommodate these two great players?

Gavaskar was a great batsman of his era.... not sure he would be too succesful in today's aggressive standards (which going by the current India-Aus series means scoring 350+ runs in a Test match day).
Azharuddin was a stylish batsman who plotted his own downfall... and really did not perform too well in the last 2-3 years of his career...
So , the answer is, I wouldn't bring any of these guys in.

I think Pak will make fast pitches... simply because Pak has better pacemen than India. Didn't India provide under-prepared (hence spinner friendly) pitches to Pakistan when they last toured India even though Pak itself had Saqlain and I think Mushtaq. Remember the test in Delhi where Kumble took those 10 wickets.
Answering the Question! yes this is the best indian batting line up ever! IF Agarkar clicks on pakistani tour with bat and Kumble plays odd 10-15 runs innings, then it will be challanging for pakistan.
i wud definitely not replace pathan....
he is the highest scorer for india in the 'strongest batting line up ever' in that last match....
so try replacing someone else.... :p
