For those of you following the iraq news; the level of violence in Iraq has dramatically decreased.
This contributed due to the Surge and a new secret weapon. This secret weapon is supposed to have led to US special units hunting down and killing most leaders of iraqi resistance and al-queda. Basically, there are very few of the resistance leaders left:

probably the lethal arsenal includes making people get ought out and not remember all the carnage raised by the heinous war mongers.
The US secret weapon in Iraq is Iran.. Iran can ratchet up and down US casulties in Iraq.

The violence in Iraq seems to have decreased because papers are so confined and they are busy filling it up with credit-crunch related news. No time for Iraqis. Who cares anyways.

its some sort of device which by using intercepted communication, visual reference can use a satellite to home in on the body signature of the person
whether it is heat, biometric, voice, etc...
So if any al qaeda terrorist speaks on a telephone, USA intercepts it, then if the USA scans a certain area and he talks, then USA can pinpoint his location and kill him

It's not absurd but current technology and is actually been field tested.
The way it works is capturing a low level al-queda or taliban, tagging him with micro devices without the his knowledge or capturing his biometric details (like face, ear and eye shape etc) and then releasing the person.
Satellites can then track the person like GPS. This way they can figure out where the person will go, the groups hideouts etc.
From what I have read, since the last year or so, US special 'teams' have killed or destroyed almost every local resistance group leader in Iraq and nowadays noone wants to be a leader of these groups.

Talking about biometric recognition, did you know this technology is currently being used by Casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, to recognize banned people.
So even if a person wearing a disguise tries to enter a casino, the 'cameras' can recognize the person by comparing the ear shape and size, cheekbones, eye shape etc etc.

Israel can drop these on Lebanon, each time Hezbollah has its parade with its members, and then when the war starts, Israel can track them and kill them
Or Pakistan with its tribal animals

Surge itself did not work. It was actually Iraqis who stopped supporting militant groups. They were fed up with violence.

I think that the weapon is a figment of imagination. With all the mayhem, I think it is the Iraqis themselves who decided that enough is enough.
