There is no way that is "real" diamond polkhi. It's either zircon or sapphire polkhi, which is not that costly. The only real diamond polkhi available at Nauattan is imported from Jaipur and looks completely different.

It's not really fake, it's just a cheaper alternative. Real diamond polkhi isnt manufactured in Pakistan, except for at Chottani's, so jewellers have started making their own cheaper, less labor intensive version with uncut zircon and sapphires, some big and some very small, like in this set. It can easily be half the price of a diamond polkhi set, and jewellers convince you that its "polkhi", and girls buy into it.

We have jewellery that we want to sell. Never used. One piece is the same as the one Mrs. Bhatto ordered. It is from Ruby Jewellers Lahore. We are trying to cut back on Zakat.

Hi everyone!
My MIL asked me to send her pictures of jewellery designs for my valima set. I do have a few pictures but I know that if she goes searching for specific designs in San Fran or Chicago, it’ll be like looking for a needle in a hay stack. She has family in Lahore so they may be able to help her out. The safest strategy in my opinion is to provide a specific design and tell them where to go so that there are no dissappointments.
Can any of you confirm if this set is from Waseem jewellers in lahore? If yes, any idea of how much it would be? See link—

i find it so unfair, when the jewelers in Pakistan, charge you for those stones in gold price :(
